We had to pick two out of four photos and draw them in three tones, I chose the woman with the long red hair and the mountain range using Adobe Photoshop. I think it didn't turn out that well, I just struggle quite a lot with trying to find and create shape using only three tones. I'm fairly sure I struggled last time too, it may just be something I need to work on because drawing with no line art is super weird to me.
I tried to another study with seven tones rather than just three and its still really weird to do for me, I don't feel like I know when is too little or too much and I keep going to draw in lines rather than blocking in shapes to create something. I'm also not particularly great at drawing on a tablet rather than in person on paper. It feels super alien but, I'm sure it will get easier the more I do it. I think I'm going to try do at least two of these weekly to try get better at it, because at the moment my they always look really bad.
