Script to Screen: Brainstorm

•  Chef on port selling meals in a market, construction workers close to their stool, Chef accidently takes from cement mixer for a sandwich or meal of some kind.
• Chef kicked from workplace in port, for using a cement mixer to make food.
• Chef comes up with incredible new recipe, government think it's dangerous and chef is chased through port by assassin, gets assassin covered in cement.
• Chef kicked from city workplace and moves to the sea to relax, but the area of the beach he moves to isn't what was advertised, it's a busy port and supply area with landmass being filled with cement.
• Chef discovers that cement adhesive would enhance many of their recipes so they try to steal some from construction workers close to home (port) because the trip to the shop would take too long. They are eager. Construction workers gives Chef a hard time. 
• A local port attraction, the bungee jumping chef, some kids put cement mixer at the dropping point of bungee jump, can't avoid it and gets cement all over chef and food, they get super angry but are trying to maintain a friendly demeanor and try to get back at the kids subtly.
• Chef convinced cement mixer is alive and sabotaging their work seeks to destroy it but can't seem to find an opportunity and travels the world to get revenge on cement mixer.
• Chef finds cement mixer in alley, it has a strange portal, that when jumped through takes you to a space port.
• Chef is the only survivor from plane crash, they are sent to a beach, where they consider themselves abandoned and set up for rescue. Until they look further for some food and find a strange animal, a cement mixer and realise that whole port and city of people were on the other side of trees.

• Pro - Silly premise would be fun to animate
• Pro - Chase scene would be fun to animate
• Con - Find a better way to use cement mixer

• Pro - Bungee jumping chef seems original
• Pro - Good use of the port element
• Con - Need to implement the cement mixer in a different way. Original plan seems lacking.

(3) Likes/Dislikes:

• Pro - Goofy story would be fun to write and storyboard
• Pro - Mistaking the cement mixer for an animal would be fun to animate
• Con - Not sure I want it to be a comedic story 
• Con - Story as is, is funny and pretty good on its own but, I think needs work. I think I would get bored of idea quickly. 

I think if I really try to push the idea of survival I can make the storyboards and animatics more fun to animate. The ending would be a pretty neat way to end the animation if I can make survival aspect tense. Subject to change.
