I tried to make him look kind of hopeless and tired. Chef will be a very unlucky chef who landed a job working aboard a ferry. Whose luck finally seemed to start looking up though, it's only a matter of time before something goes wrong for him. (Live chicken aboard ship who manages to flee the chefs grasp many a time, leading him off the ship and gets them both stuck in a recently filled pit of cement).
