I edited a bump map and a specular map for the texture to add depth to the wall in Maya and this is how that looks:

The next step of this tutorial was to apply a graffiti and mud to layer above the bricks however, I didn't have to node to be able to do this. So I just watched the video to the end anyway. I should have had a node available in this menu called 'aiLayerRgba1'.
