Story Synopsis
James sat on bleachers with his bat and ball, notices Billy with other members of the team and their girlfriends, across the field, Molly joins with new piercings, Billy walks her elsewhere, James scoffs at Molly and Billy too far away to notice her old look making a comeback. Looks back, notices Billy starting a fuss, Billy gets in Molly’s face as she backs away, James starts making way down bleachers and approaches the couple, overhears Billy shouting about her eyebrow and nose piercing saying it doesn’t suit her, she should go back to how she usually styles herself, she refuses, says she wants to dress how she likes, arguing he should like her regardless. Billy tries to forcefully take out piercings as it doesn’t fit his ideals, Annoyed James yells back at Billy, Billy tells him to back off. As Molly looks to James with relief and clearly wants some help. James throws his ball and takes a swing, hitting Billy making him grovel in pain on the floor. Then stands over Billy warning him and walking Molly away from them.
After watching his childhood friend Molly, change right in front of his eyes and become someone she doesn’t want to be to have an easier time in school, becoming Billy’s girlfriend and adapting to what he wants. James backs off. However, aware of Billy’s manipulative nature on and off the field. James always keeps a watchful eye out for Molly.
