How the world is viewed differently within the games Bastion and Gris?

both start with end of worlds to rebuilding of worlds - moving on - restarting
mental attitudes of characters
the kid starts with a unbroken spirit. he is soldier. Gris starts with broken spirit and goes through stages of grief. whereas the kid only begins grieving at the end when presented with choices.
How the two games depict the world differently.
Both of them start at the end of the world but progress differently.
Bittersweet endings
Gris - a world where Gris is still alone but is content
Bastion - has the two endings; one being the [don't reset the world and move forward]
explore themes of personal and real worlds compare the kids world and Gris world and how they begin broken and miserable but either end in a better state or in a worse state.
